API 5CT Oil Tube

Description

API 5CT oil tube is an oil pipe used for transporting of crude oil and natural gas from oil and gas layer to the surface after drilling is complete. It is capable of withstanding the pressure generated from the extraction process. This product is manufactured in the same way as casing with an additional process known as "upsetting" used for thickening the pipes. API5CT is a standard specification of oil pipe and casing pipe. This standard is made by the American Petroleum Institute. Our API 5CT oil tubes include external upset tubing (EU), non upset tubing (NU) and integral joint tubing.

Application

1. API 5CT oil pipes are used to extract the oil and gas onto ground after the well is cemented.
2. This product can also be used to inject water into the well when the pressure down the hole is not enough.
3. During the thermal recovery of thickened oil, insulated oil tube is used to transport vapor into the well.
4. In order to improve the output of oil and gas well, we need to put acidified and fractured media or condensate into the oil and gas reservoir through oil pipes.
5. These products are also used to transport fluid and gas for commercial and residential buildings.

Testing

We test the oil pipes strictly. We do chemical component analysis. We test their mechanical properties such as ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. Flattening, flaring, bending, hardness, blow and impact tests are adopted to know their technical properties. Other tests include exterior size inspection, nondestructive test (ultrasonic flaw detector, eddy current flaw detector) and hydrostatic test.
